“ The ETS ParaPro Assessment was developed in response to the federal No Child Left Behind Act, which was signed into law by President Bush in January 2002.
The ParaPro Assessment measures prospective and practicing paraprofessionals’ skills and knowledge in reading, mathematics, and writing, as well as the ability to apply those skills and knowledge to assist in classroom instruction.”
Effective November 1, 2014, the adminstration of the ParaPro Assessment will be transferred from the OHR, PDB to the Community School for Adults (CSA). McKinley CSA and Waipahu CSA will conduct advertisement, registration, and proctoring of the ParaPro Assessment statewide.
